A new product arrived at our studio: Sensitile. An American made, internationally recognized designer and fabricator of materials used for architectural design. According to the website the product is sustainable in that it uses up to 20% recycled content and uses no VOCs during production or the product’s life cycle. They have a number of products; some combine different materials: resins, polymers, and glass—each having varying degrees of translucency. We think the material has a number of uses but we expect to investigate using them as divider screens or cladding where light can be combined to create spatial and textural effects.
